I’m an Army veteran and former combat medic, and I’ve spent nearly 30 years as a nurse. Caring for others has been at the heart of much of my life. During my time in the military, I met Rhonda. Life eventually took us in different directions, but 29 years later, we found our way back to each other. That reunion became a love story all its own. Rhonda’s Romantic Retreat was inspired by our story and by the idea that sometimes the best thing two people can do is slow down, step away from everyday life, and reconnect. We created the cabin as a peaceful getaway where couples can relax, enjoy time together, and make special memories of their own.
